@janl@narrativ.es TBH, I haven't looked into the code to see how it's implemented, but my exposure to CRDTs came from this “local first" paper here a few years back https://www.inkandswitch.com/local-first/ I understood Y.js to be another implementation of these ideas using CRDTs with an offline/local first bias. This isn't my area of expertise tho 😅. I'm just glad to see OSS that offers plausible ways out from everyone living in the same SaaS monoculture that's developed around us.
