@_chris_real@kolektiva.social the bill's text hasn't been released so not sure where you're getting this information from. i agree those clauses are likely to feature in the text but i consider it to be pretty irresponsible to use ALLCAPS for text that is not available at the given link

I'm extrapolating the kind of information, and code, that would be needed to "verify" this age. The revealing of what these "other" purposes ARE? It's not relevant. The methods used to retrieve this information can be applied to other information. The statement I made was valid and alarming. The effect of the law is to eliminate 4th amendment protections, by defining any operating system as not belonging to you. The law says you cannot be forced to testify against yourself. Is your computer an extension of your property, and under your domain, like like a desk drawer or a safe, or is it a snitch, like a servant who can be compelled to testify against you?
