@GoblinQuester@dice.camp not quite half and half but they are privatizing a lot and our healthcare doesn’t cover many things that people assume it does (ie meds, dental, vision aren’t covered). We do have rent geared to income housing for people on disability, but wait lists can be 10 years or longer.

@broadwaybabyto@zeroes.ca Waiting lists are horrible! yeah, why dental isn't covered fully here I have never really understood. They have made efforts to extend it, children and elderly, and there have been some hints of more. But it is awfully expensive when you need something done.
