Anyone any thoughts on what this might be? Installed at a local reservoir. There’s a solar panel on top which would suggest it’s not mains connected. Seemed to have either some pipes or cables under the trunking.

My thoughts were water quality monitoring but I haven’t seen such an installation before. No obvious cellular antenna on the cabinet either.

@ret@furry.engineer Anti fish grid. Disintegrates any fish that dares come too close to land using the unmatched power of the sun. That's what the solar panel is for. Any fish seen attempting to evolve the ability to walk on land is to be terminated on sight.

@ret@furry.engineer I would assume it's a sensor array that reports on the water level in the reservoir. Maybe it's only an additional or a backup unit that is connected wirelessly. But I'm no expert
