@UkeleleEric@mstdn.social was there 20cm back so I’ll just replace it. Overall a couple of metres to do.

@dcbuchan@aus.social fair enough, obviously a small amount of moisture has tracked along the wire from the cut ends over time. For wires of that type, that is normal, especially outside. Might be able to prolong future wires by some sort of waterproof connectors, but sometimes they fail and the moisture then gets trapped inside...
