@kyleirl@mastodon.social They are not, but we’re starting an open-ended campaign in which their actions drive everything, so they opted to get to know their characters from level 1. I always enjoy running low levels, too! That seems to be the place where DnD players lean more towards non-violence and creative thinking than when they’re level five and can just bonk things on the head successfully 😅
