@mariafarrell@mastodon.social I can be even dumber. Recently doggo was crying which I know means she wants something, or is excited about what's coming etc.. I also try to ignore it mostly because it's an annoying thing which can get out of hand and she's smart enough to use it as a super power if I respond too easily.
It drives me bonkers if she starts this, and whining etc when we're getting ready to go out, so I have to keep a boundary.

@mariafarrell@mastodon.social So I ignored her crying that morning while doing my routine. Noticed the boat door was open, so she been on the prow and come back to cry more *to go out urgently*. But I closed it 🤦♂️ Fast forward, she opened the door again while I was there but didn't get off because she knows she has to wait for my command. Then I realised, took her out and immediately massive diarrhoea. She'd held it for over ten minutes and boy did I feel bad, and proud of her. Dog reading/training is hard!
