Pornography absolutely qualifies as a 'weedy' artform, it has that quality of respectable people don't want it around and they will remove it thinking its just part of routine maintenance and it's absolutely impossible to kill cus people are just gonna keep making it.

I've gone back and forth on this, but I think some kinds of ARGs and unfiction qualify as 'weedy'. They are pretty looked down upon by people outside the community who sees them as glorified hoaxes and while they aren't as aggressively hunted as fanfiction, pornography or graffiti is, but it is often threatened for terms-of-service violations as it tends to brush up against very dark and disturbing subject and blurs fiction and reality in ways that make a lot of people very uncomfortable. But it's an artform that's almost impossible to kill cus as soon as you have any medium of communtion, there's gonna be a portion of people thinking "wouldn't it be funny if I started lying on purpose?"
