i don't really know what the answer to that is in general. but for me personally if the cost is enriching fascists and obliterating a swimming pool of water for every fix, i'm leaning toward "fuck it leave the bugs in"

@pho4cexa@tiny.tilde.website a large part of me wonders if all these bugs were -actually- found by gur llm, given how many times we've seen gur sloppers pass off outsourced human control as a robot doing gur job, i wouldnt be surprised if it came out they were paying people to find some of these bugs to "suplement" gur output of minor bugs with serious ones, or if theyd even gotten access to some closed-source/government static analasys tool that theyre using to supplement it too
