@fox@bark.lgbt hai!! on mine tftpboot does just that , it copies a file over tftp and writes it at an offset. (so it doesnt do any booting at all !) when i write it to 0x200000 (which is in the 32mb of ram) and then boot with that set as the ramdisk, it works, but obviously then its a tethered boot i have to perform every time i turn it on. if i write it to the flash area (i forget but its something like 0xffe00000) then it doesnt seem to actually save at all (if i use md to view the region its just FFs) and then booting raises an error obviously because its just garbage there. which makes me worried about a flash problem.

@760ceb3b9c0ba4872cadf3ce35a7a4@wetdry.world that does raise an eyebrow for sure do you know what type of flash memory it is? having a quick glance at the documentation, in the case of SPI flash, I believe a probe is first necessary before anything flash related will work, likewise a write protect may have been set. I don't suppose the flash is accessible to the operating system in any way?
