Note: 2,700 people have been arrested for supporting #PalestineAction since it was proscribed under the Terrorism Act last summer by the then-home secretary Yvette Cooper; many arrested for holding placards expressing support for the group.

@peterjriley2024@mastodon.social Leaving the criminal convictions & charges in place, after finding the basis for them was unlawful, was an act of bastardry by those judges. Letting the government continue to do serious and irreversible harm to people and continue to violate their human rights is outrageous and a far far greater wrong than exposing the state to the possible inconvenience of having to re-arrest if the court's decision is overturned on appeal. #PalestineAction #PalestineActionProscription
