@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza specifically you'd probably want the R3 II 2025 or R1, though I'd recommend the R3 II 2025.
*Doesn't* require a phone app, doesn't need a subscription, streaming entirely optional and only over wifi. You plug in an SD card and can transfer over Wifi or plugging it in as a USB drive.

@rootwyrm@weird.autos Way nicer than my matchbook thing that I reloaded RockBlox onto! SD transfer is great, I ripped my collection long ago and been adding since so now at about 400G of mostly MP3, some FLAC and OGG Although not all of it is stuff I want to listen too when mowing/hiking/whatever.
