@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com You can’t go wrong with a small Orange amp. Avoid the tiny battery powered amps. They’re pretty much all awful at clean sounds at any reasonable SPL (except the Yamaha THR series). My personal favorite small amps that can get loud(ish) and sound great clean are the Quilters. They are pretty convincing tube amp emulators, but still all analog/solid state. It sounds to me like you might be happiest with an Aviator Cub. Or pair the Superblock with block dock.

  • @neverbeaten@mas.to Funny you mention the THR, I just learned about those and they seem incredibly flexible. Have one in my Sweetwater cart atm :D There's no doubt whatsoever that the Aviator Cub would sound better, but the flexibility of that stupid little THR seems very nice for my use case, which doesn't actually require the World's Best Guitar Tone (TM). Have you heard them in person or played through one?
