@xenogon@sunny.garden your point is well-taken about piano and guitar not mixing in acoustic-only land! I'm doing a lot of playing with a great pianist lately where the role of my guitar is more textural, so that natural imbalance kind of works in our favor. (I'm also singing, but I enjoy it a lot more when I have something in my hands, lol) @bgm@musicians.today

@alisynthesis@io.waxandleather.com @bgm@musicians.today switchable output power is useful for getting low level drive tones, but for clean tones the speaker colouration is more relevant than the amp distortion , and there's no speaker with a switchable loudness sweet spot! Also for clean(ish) you probably want the full 4w anyway - though it depends very much on the part. clean jazzy single notes need way less headroom than funky chord chopping, for example.
