@Kierkegaanks@beige.party I cut my teeth with 2001, then years later with Orange. I put in Full Metal Jacket years after that. ... And was let down. In so many words, I wanted a Mind F. That the others had given me. I'm still not sure where I am with Eyes Wide Shut. I think I'm mostly jealous I can't chant backwards. But yeah. I don't think, you know, warts and all, I think I need to see more , if I can dare say it, classics. [The 'dare' is in speaking to how young Shining is as a film, and when age makes something a classic.]
