@siracusa @caseyliss @marcoarment you once argued in ATP that the Mac Pro is a kind of “Formula One”, a proof of concept for Apple that it can build the world‘s fastest and best computer, and that’s why it should exist. What if instead of speed and performance, we use performance *per dollar* as our main metric. In that case, wouldn’t the MacBook Neo be Apple’s actual Formula One product, where it’s the world leader by far and pushing the state of the art? #askatp

    @Beirutspring@techhub.social “Speed per dollar” isn’t how Formula One wins are determined. So, no, the Neo isn’t Apple’s “actual” Formula One product. (But it is still a good product.)
