@vazub@mastodon.online Stallman didn't want code to be closed source - AI code just makes open source code "open" - the closed source code just remains a trade secret - not open at all.

@yoasif@mastodon.social Point being, most companies are switching to LLM-assisted development as well. Meaning, that if there is a clear legal precedent to consider LLM-generated code as uncopyrightable, eventually they would not be able to enforce the ownership, should the code leak somehow, *wink-wink*.
