The username goes into the password manager. The password also goes into the password manager. The second factor also goes into the square hole, uhm i mean password manager.

  • @nachtpfoetchen@eldritch.cafe to be fair, the password manager is two factor auth, it's something you know (it's password) and something you own (a device where it's set up) this ofc requires that the passsord manager requires two factors to be set up

    @nachtpfoetchen@eldritch.cafe Only store MFA for accounts where you don't trust the service. Where additional trust is required, use a separate TOTP app (Aegis?). Do NOT forget to arrange a secure fallback mechanism
