I have a bad habit of listening to too much music and singing too loud after a few drinks - at least that’s what my wife tells me. She’s probably right, per the rules of normal folk. I’m very abnormal and it took quite a while to come to terms with it. At the same time, I love karaoke - I’m a sad smothered soul with this as one of my few outlets on the rare occasions I get to do it. It took years to realize I needed a good repertoire, but I think I have one now.

I’m a middle aged mediocre white guy, there’s only so far I can go in this game. I daresay that I can do a decent Lil Nas X because I have a rather deep voice, and I will gladly sing Lorde or Royal and the Serpent because of the cracked crystal in my soul, but y’know, know your limits. But if you’re around #DC, let me know if you want to do #karaoke and maybe we can go hang out. You don’t have to sing a single note if you don’t want, I have a haunted soul - especially after a few. #music
