For anyone with some new unwanted reform councillors 🙂
Let’s hope the people who voted for them are happy with their choice.
Local elections were about “stopping the boats” - which will come as news to the average councillor whose day is usually spent dealing with potholes, missed bin collections, adult social care, bus routes, planning disputes, and whether Mrs Jenkins can finally get the blue badge she applied for sometime during the reign of Queen Vic.
So here’s an idea.

Let’s help the new Reform councillors settle into local government properly by emailing them this week with an actual council problem to solve. Rubbish piling up? Email them. Bus route disappeared into the void? Email them. Streetlights dead? Email them. Care package delayed? Email them. Pavement looks like the Somme? Email them. Send them in by the hundred. Politely, but very clearly, remind them what the job actually is. 2/3
