Look, I am not entirely disconnected from the economic system in which we find ourselves. I do understand that the Tories left a mountain of debt that needs to be serviced and a stagnant economy. But there absolutely ARE ways to address this if you can get economists who can think outside the box. That is what Labour should have done, instead of simply re-embracing austerity. It wasn't just cruel, it was lazy answers to challenging questions.
