@captpackrat@pawb.fun I asked in some 'horse supply place' where they are ( should ? ) be well aware of horse stuff .. when I mentioned "peanuts" they REALLY looked at me like if I asked for something from another planet ! Really I tried to explain she tells me "NEVER heard of this !" .. but she suggested us about some special treats with cinnamon in it, apparently cinnamon is good for regulating sugar levels.

@gilesgoat@toot.wales And I give the animals the peanuts still in the shell, which some people think is weird. But the shell is just fiber, it's not much different from the other things they eat. The goats in particular love the shells, because I buy the salted kind. Whenever I eat peanuts I save the shells for the goats.
