@davey_cakes@mastodon.ie He did address that in the piece, that there were actors who initiated some of this with histories of bad faith claims, but not the far right itself, and that the far right in general got involved after it took off. The core claims are not of the far right, but they certainly got involved and attached their grievances to it.
I think the histories of the spokespeople is worth paying attention to.

@kevinteljeur@mastodon.online that's fair as well. I do think that even the genuine protestors should have done more to distance themselves from the kind of gowls we're talking about, especially when they hop on stage and start complaining about refugees.
