A crowd gathered today in Zagreb to protest last week's publicity stunt arrests of spouses of two opposition politicians, by the grotesquely corrupt state attorney Turudić. https://en.vijesti.me/world-a/balkan/753980/Uhapsen-musician-Mile-Kekin Croatia's democratic backsliding is completely flying under the radar at this time of much bigger crises. I could barely find any news in English about this. Only domestic political organizing can save it from fully going down the autocratic path like Hungary or Serbia. There's no external savior.
