I watched it on stream yesterday and man, what a wasted episode. First of all Tasha Yar being killed so unceremoniously, at least make it the climax of the episode, and her a character who's potential was already being wasted (which is why the actor left). Armus being a creature of pure evil, thus making all the usual Star Trek moral dilemma stuff redundant and then a bizarre holodeck memorial praising the rest of the crew. Definitely one of the worst TNG episodes yet.
