@clickhere@mastodon.ie As far as I understand: Annual plants need time to grow flowers and seed. Perennial plants do that too, but also need to conserve energy from their leaves to come again next year. It probably depends very much, how far your plants already are in their yearly cycle - and how high your lawn mower can move above them. If it is only dandelions - they are very very tough ... but maybe there are other less conspicuous plants, you might damage. And animals (+their food source), too ...
