@eljojo@ruby.social @theashtonstarr@mastodon.social The purists will scream but one can manage very simple tuneups without a bike stand, a small adjustable wrench and some tire irons. Wipe down chain and oil it. The purist also has a chain breaker (I own one!) but honestly keeping the dirt down and chain oiled helps. Tightening the brake cables is pretty simple. You will need to learn to change your tires unless you like walking home. Anything else gets more intense. I personally have done cranks but you don't need that. Hire a professional. Ya know we should have a bike clinic where people can learn this simple stuff. ;)
