Does anyone still use MP3 players? Can you recommend a small audio player that will work with Linux? I can blindly buy one off amazon but hoping someone had a suggestion. I had one about the size of a matchbook, had 64G of music and I wore it cutting the lawn. I forget the brand but It broke last year and I didn't replace it yet. I like a portable player that doesn't rely on my phone, a subscription, or cellular/internet for streaming.

@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza I like my over priced shokz bone conduction headphones (meant for swimming)... They can in theory play mp3 files independent of a phone. I've yet to use the ability, I bought for water proofness.

@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza Wish I had my Sansa Clips still, they were perfect for that.

@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza I got my kids sandisk players a few years ago called the sport clip. Searching reveals they are discontinued. But related searches might yield a current product that hits your markers because the sandisk thing did.
