A friend was struggling with her health, housing and relationship, so came over yesterday. Generally for a bit of respite, to vent, and for various people to help her with next steps. Getting referrals, on housing lists etc...
She has three dogs in a flat, and chronic health conditions. So we also did a bit of dog sitting too. They are not really lead trained, and are all a handful as the oldest is only going to be neutered in a couple of weeks. They adore our back garden and playing non-stop, but we took them out on a quiet bit of hill with the young ones. Somewhere where they wouldn't have to negotiate other dogs or people. After a couple of miles, they were getting the hang of walking on leads. Coped with seeing a cyclist, noisily but stayed put well.
When we finally took our friend and the dogs home in the evening, they were tuckered out. She sent a photo of them too tired to even go out for an evening pee and collapsed in her room.
We consider that mission accomplished :blobcatgiggle:
