second video in https://kwlug.org/node/1458 (local LUG event) -- from minute 8, pondering on system map of things that are present in user system.
Manifests already instruct platform how to connect apps, what connections to make, etc. In video we have proof of concept on PrivacySafe platform, while I am asking if folks have seen something like this info-sec UX on Android, and people haven't.

@indigotime@privacysafe.social There can be two perspectives here: - social: Google owns Android platform, while user owns PricySafe platform. So, good luck changing Android. - technical: This Java mixture in Android gives a stylistic in which not everything related to info security is declaratively expressed in manifest. Not to the latest nuance. And this may prevent having a tool that will describe completely info flows, on which one may rely for info-sec auditing. [Shameless plug: https://github.com/PrivacySafe ]
