When I was a kid.. I wanted to make a data center. Someplace for my friends to have websites, or a game, or run things like Mastodon. Not so much of a high-end business sense of running a datacenter, but more of a sandbox environment of fucking around and finding out. And with the whole concept of ARM processors. It's a concept I was thinking, "Wow... datacenters where I wouldn't even need to take the American tax dodge to get electricity at 0.02 cents per kw/hr." Then AI showed up. And now, when I tell people I want to run a datacenter, they look at me like I'm Hitler.
