Hearing my MIL's assisted living facility has a rhinovirus outbreak. All residents "also" are being asked to mask in community spaces. Just sharing as it's clearly something that's spreading in places.

Just to clarify, I'm saying residents "also" because usually it's just quarantine, and then staff and visitors required to mask. That they are asking the geriatric residents to mask as well is notable.

@nomdeb@mstdn.social Sadly alot of these facilities have been going thru these kinds of issues since covid now for a few years ..and it is one thing that bothers myself because I may be entering as a tenant soon myself ... Many staff also work in more than one facility at the same time and that can be troublesome as well ...
