@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social ok. barely any views. And i think part of that is exactly that. you get used to the algorithm doing some of that work for you. and learning how to get engagement on PT is a shift.
How do you get your content some eyeballs on PT?

@Mrfunkedude@mastodon.social also. my worst performing videos on my best channel on YT (swbcrawler, off-road and garage content), get a few hundred views. exact same content on PT gets a few. like. under 10

@gangrif@social.undrground.org Whenever I make a video the most important thing afterwards are the hashtags. The key hashtag to use IS #Peertube . Why? Because people follow the hashtag or search it here on Mastodon or other place on the Fedi to see what the latest videos are. Then, I boost my video from my main account. This gives others the opportunity to watch the video and follow my PeerTube channel from other places on the Fedi. p1
