@gangrif@social.undrground.org Graphene is my daily driver and I quite enjoy it. I did add some google back in, but Graphene keeps that strongly sandboxed which is great!
Could the battery life also be from a lack of SIM? I.e. maybe it doesn't need to power the extra radio?

@ennenine@mastodon.social yes. i think that's at least part of it. the phone did not get that great battery life with its last owner (my daughter). If i switch ( and i'm kinda thinking of it) it'll mean switching smart watches too. I'm not sure what a pixel watch opens me up to from a privacy perspective. but i need something with the advanced heart monitoring after a little scare a year or so ago. Pixel watch does it. Apple watch does it.
