The homogenization effect of high LLM usage has been noticed/evaluated, and is a major concern specifically in the realm of cognitive science. This is all the more apparent to individuals that fall outside the mean/average of the normalized data. Disenfranchised populations--or anyone who has had to grow up on the outskirts of a normative culture--feels this more presciently, and understands that the end result is erasure. On the flip side, those that ordinarily fit within the normalized hegemony tend to not recognize the problem, or feel its effects entirely. (The effect is still there, though...) My take is that this is not accidental or a byproduct of these technologies. Cultural erasure and the suspicion of authenticity/authority are desired goals...
