@girlabtvillage@mas.to Saudi Arabia put women under perpetual house arrest and called it protective custody. How is doing that to children _better_? "Those poor lesser beings, we know what's good for them." The vast majority of abuse is from authority figures close to home. Not just uncle touchy left alone with the altarboys, but the "he fell down" kind. This moral panic is trying to lock kids down so they can't work out "this is fucked up" as fast, and when they do have no one else to turn to.

    @girlabtvillage@mas.to I have a simple litmus test: is this punishing (potential) victims or empowering them? KOSA fails. Fosta/Sesta fails. The online safety act fails. OS age discrimination fails.
