@ColmDonoghue@mastodon.ie @tomasino@tilde.zone there is no time travel in Memento. the scenes are out of order to make you feel confused. the DVD had an easter egg that would let you watch the scenes in order, and it's almost like watching a completely different movie. you're not left scratching your head about who the killer is.

@burnitdown@beige.party @ColmDonoghue@mastodon.ie @tomasino@tilde.zone The scenes in color are in sequence and the scenes in black and white are Lenny’s memory of events because he’s an unreliable narrator stuck in a pit of cognitive dissonance. It’s not time travel though, agreed.
