I'm always fascinated by people's acceptance of coffee - specifically when I see people who say "I can't do X until I've had my coffee" and they genuinely mean that they can't function properly without it. I always think that if caffeine was in a pill and someone claimed they needed it to function, lots of alarm bells would be ringing. I'm not saying people shouldn't drink coffee, I'm just saying it's *weird* how saying "I'm addicted to this" is fine if comes with steamed milk.
