@3TomatoesShort@disabled.social For whatever it's worth, I am sorry that people haven't been more understanding/empathetic in general. I'm glad you've got a way to manage/navigate that that's working for you though

@Cheeseness@mastodon.social I get it though, I also had no understanding of chronic illness before it affected me, I probably said a bunch of harmful stuff that I can't remember now. I'm happy to spend energy on people who are open to learning, I just filter out the ones who have really solidly internalised the "always push through" mythology that our society loves so much.
