@3TomatoesShort@disabled.social I felt like I didn't quite have the character count to express that I find sharing negative stuff with people I have some positive context for to be very powerful and meaningful - it's just that I find that a lot harder to do with people that I don't have context for/connection to (and most often, I build that initial connection through something positive - even if that's just excitement at finding someone who has shared experiences). Shared understanding is important for sure

I tend to jump right to negative, because it helps me filter out people who I know I'm not going to ever get comfortable with, if they react in a really uncomfortable or unsafe feeling way. And honestly, this habit only started after I became so thoroughly fatigued that my field of fucks grew barren ๐Ÿ˜… I don't have energy to waste on the "getting to know people" phase ๐Ÿ˜…
