@marcoarment@mastodon.social would you recommend OneShape to begin a printing journey with my wife? I have veeeery little 3d printing experience, but I have some. She has none whatsoever. I mostly used blender for all my needs but would be happy to move to something more tailored to industrial design rather than modelling.

@niccolo@mastodon.online Watch a couple of YouTube videos and give it a try (free for non-commercial use, but all of your designs are public). It might be a bit of a steep learning curve for step one, though. As a first step, I’d say TinkerCAD is muuuuuch faster and more friendly, and can get you surprisingly far. I still use it for about half of what I do because it’s so much faster to get the basics done.
