(It occurs to me that it would be amusing to design an ambigram that would simply read "Pull" from the outside & "Push" from the inside. Doesn't solve the "pull-handle on the inside" problem, ofc.) >

@CliftonR@wandering.shop @deathkitten@firetribe.org My impression is that the elipse & hamburger choices are about saving screen real estate. It's seen most frequently in those UIs that are set up to "adapt" to a wide window on a computer desktop versus a narrow window on a phone. I get the aversion to maintaining two separate versions for different contexts, but they way they're doing it nowadays is just maddening. >
