They always say that pet loss hits differently. When Zoe suddenly fell ill, we did everything we could, but we lost her on this day, 2 years ago, for complications caused by an undetected infection. My heart stopped, life became heavy. She was my soul dog. She was kind, loving, always happy. 2 years passed, but I still miss her. Every day.
