There are reasons it was never rerun, it seems.
Speaking of your Six Colors column (smooth transition!) ... I did two weeks of "genius" training in Cupertino in the early aughts. Whew. I did not flee midwestern suburbia to get trapped in Californian suburbia. I concluded that there was nothing and no amount of money that would get me to move there from Portland.

@Voline@kolektiva.social Yeah, that was another thing. I went to a conference in San Jose once in the late '90s and drove to Apple to go to the company store and was not inspired to live in Cupertino.
