Regarding accepting/adapting, there's a certain amount of that we're going to have to do anyway, but without taking strong steps to limit emissions the question arises, what are you planning to adapt to? A 2°C rise in global temperatures? A 4°C rise? 6°C? 8°C? An uninhabitable planet? Things will keep getting worse on our current course. We need to change course.
