How do fascist regimes end? Those of us on the left would like to think that the people rise up. This hardly ever happens.
No, historically there are two main ways they end:
1) charismatic leader dies of old age
2) *the regime is unable to keep itself from starting wars it can't win*

This is the best news for the planet. I know that people have seen lots of eco-catastrophe footage of oil facilities burning in the Middle East, but under US hegemony we were never ever going to go off fossil fuels. The fall of the US empire is probably the best way, at this point, to save the planet's carrying capacity.
