@Space6host@fedia.social they are, yeah. Putting it under ICC or Scottish jurisdiction seems like an open question. Belgium has a similar ecocide law already. Corporations have weasel-y lawyers so who knows what would actually happen. It might deter them through legal fees alone, though.

@Space6host@fedia.social @kumarvibe@mastodon.social and why would the need the ICC to do this? Is it because most of those they anticipate getting prosecuted would be outside of Scotland?
