It's also worth noting that it was (likely) the targeted campaigns of hate against trans participants that tipped the organisation over the edge in finally getting rid of some of the performance metrics from the front-facing parts of the website (it's still on the app, which is now official). As they pivoted to inclusion and participation it made less sense to publish leaderboards based on pure time, but the hate spewing from the swimmer and the marathon runner can't have helped.

There was a dedicated campaign trying to get them to reinstate those stats, so I want every tedious person who joined that campaign (the data was always still available, it just wasn't front and centre) to support this one. Let's see if they actually understand what #parkrun is about (getting outside, moving/volunteering, being part of a community).
