@sixohsix@icosahedron.website is the trademark still valid elsewhere outside of Germany? In the UK Aspirin is the generic name

@erincandescent@akko.erincandescent.net it's valid in Canada, where the generic pills say ASA. In the US aspirin is generic. Rest of the world, I don't know.

@erincandescent@akko.erincandescent.net @sixohsix@icosahedron.website Until I became an enrolled nurse I only knew it by aspirin. Can confirm it for Norway and Sweden. It’s not common anymore tho. Most use either paracetamol or ibuprofen. Most likely because you should avoid it if you have an ulcer, asthma and it’s a mild blood thinner.
