I would have to think through some of that but it seems much better than our model.
I didn't realize you have surveillance level purchasing like China. That is also a scary future in many ways.

@chu@climatejustice.social I will tell you something - that's a uniquely western fear lmao. Yes there's some of here that grumble, but back during COVID we were using apps to register ourselves everywhere we go (contact tracing). Our ICs are not just pieces of plastic. (It has chips in it) We use it to get vaccines, we use it to buy things and govt benefits flow through that card. But compared to China we r small beans. But definitely a lot more data intensive than the US.
